Why Leadership Formation Must Start Early

Leadership is often treated as something learned later in life. But by adulthood, many habits — both healthy and harmful — are already formed.

Middle and high school are pivotal seasons. These are the years when students:

• Develop confidence or insecurity

• Form beliefs about their ability to lead
