I set out to answer a question.
What kind of education prepares young people for a world that's changing faster than ever before?
As I looked around, I saw incredible teachers doing their best inside systems that weren't designed for today's students. I saw parents searching for something different. I saw young people who were creative, capable, and full of potential, but often disconnected from learning and unsure of who they were becoming.
The more I listened, the more I realized this wasn't about fixing education.
It was about reimagining it.
Live2Create Leadership Academy was born from the belief that education should do more than prepare students for college or careers. It should help them discover who they are, develop their gifts, strengthen their character, and learn how to make a meaningful contribution to the world.
That's the school we're building.

When people ask why we chose Pittsburgh, they usually expect a practical answer.
The real answer is much more personal.
We chose Pittsburgh because we believe education can be a catalyst for community transformation. This neighborhood has a rich history of resilience, creativity, entrepreneurship, and faith. It's a place where stories are being rewritten—and we wanted to be part of that story.
Our students won't just learn about community.
They'll learn within it.
Through partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, artists, entrepreneurs, and mentors, Pittsburgh becomes an extension of the classroom.
Because some of the most meaningful lessons aren't found in textbooks—they're found in relationships.

Amy P. McIntosh, Founder & Head of School
Amy is the founder of Live2Create Foundation Network and Chair of the Board. With 18+ years in education, coaching, and instructional design, she is passionate about helping students, professionals, and leaders discover their God-given purpose. She also works for BuildTime, a local Atlanta tech-startup helping to enable rules-based timekeeping for the construction industry.

Brandon Monteith, Board of Director
Brandon Monteith is Head of Strategy at Tempus Ex, where he drives growth and innovation at the intersection of sports, technology, and data. As a member of the Live2Create Board of Directors, he leverages his strategic expertise to help shape the Academy’s vision and long-term impact.

DeaRonda Harrison is the President of June First Firm, where she helps nonprofits secure funding through expert grant writing and development strategy. On the Live2Create Board of Directors, she brings her passion and expertise to strengthen fundraising and sustainability.
