Metro Atlanta Nonprofit Launches Faith-Centered Microschool to Develop the Next Generation of Leaders
Live2Create Leadership Academy opens Fall 2026 — a studio-based learning environment where middle and high school students develop identity, master academics, and build real-world leadership inside a professional coworking community.
Our Story
ATLANTA, GA — April 2026
Live2Create Foundation Network today announced the Fall 2026 launch of Live2Create Leadership Academy, a faith-informed microschool serving Metro Atlanta students in grades 6 and 9. The Academy opens August 17, 2026, inside a professional coworking environment in Atlanta, where students will learn alongside entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders — bringing real-world context directly into the academic experience.
The announcement marks the formal launch of a model the Foundation has been developing for years: a student experience that replaces passive instruction with active formation, prioritizing who students are becoming alongside what they are learning.
"This is the school I wish my sons could have had — a place where they're not just told who they're not, but celebrated for who they are becoming. We're not building another school. We're building something this city has never seen."
— Amy P. McIntosh, Founder & Executive Director, Live2Create Foundation Network
A New Model for Student Formation
Live2Create Leadership Academy operates on a studio-based learning model, replacing traditional classrooms with collaborative learning environments designed to mirror professional settings. Students follow individualized academic mastery plans aligned with state standards, engage in hands-on project-based learning, and receive daily leadership coaching — all within a founding cohort intentionally limited to 12–20 students to protect depth, mentorship, and meaningful relationships.
The program is built on the SEED Framework — a structured progression through four integrated domains: academic mastery, studio-based project learning, leadership development, and faith and character formation. Unlike conventional private school models, Live2Create does not measure progress by seat time. Students demonstrate mastery through portfolios, public presentations, and real-world deliverables developed alongside community mentors and business partners.

Responding to a Gap Families Are Already Feeling
The Academy's launch comes amid a significant shift in how Metro Atlanta families are approaching education. Georgia's Promise Scholarship Act, which provides eligible students with state education funds to apply toward qualifying educational services, has accelerated family interest in alternatives to traditional schooling.
Live2Create's service-based program model is designed to align with Promise Scholarship eligibility, making the Academy accessible to a broader range of families regardless of economic background.
"Too many students are growing up unseen, unheard, and underprepared for the complexity of life beyond a test score," said McIntosh. "Live2Create exists because leadership, purpose, and faith-centered learning should not be reserved for families who can afford elite private schools. We are building something that is both excellent and accessible."
A Nonprofit Foundation. A Long-Term Vision.
Live2Create Leadership Academy is operated by Live2Create Foundation Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a decade-long history of mentoring underserved teens through creative arts, purpose discovery, and leadership development in Metro Atlanta. The Academy represents the Foundation's most ambitious program to date — a full-time, year-round student experience that extends the Foundation's mission into a structured, academically rigorous model.
The organization's long-term vision calls for a three-school network by 2028, ultimately serving students across grades 5 through 12 with a replicable model built on depth rather than scale. The founding cohort launching in Fall 2026 is the first chapter of that network.
"Year 1 proves the model. Year 2 replicates it. Year 3 becomes the proof that this kind of education — personal, purposeful, and faith-informed — can sustain itself and grow."
— Amy P. McIntosh, Founder & Executive Director
