About Us

We've noticed that most youth want a safe environment to express themselves without judgement. They don't trust their current environment and feel lost, neglected, and uncertain of their future. We understand what it's like to not have a place where you feel like you belong. That's why we're guiding youth towards a future they didn't realize they could have.

Our approach to positive wellbeing

improves academic outcomes, artistic growth, overall mental health, and community engagement. Using the expressive arts, we address the needs of students, teachers, and parents through in-school and out-of-school mentoring that delivers service learning opportunities for Youth Development, Academic Enrichment, and Career Readiness.

Who We Are

Live2Create Foundation Network, Inc. is a faith-based 501c3 nonprofit organization created to promote positive wellbeing in the lives of African American youth and the underserved community through the expressive arts.

What We Do

We use the expressive arts as a tool for identity formation to motivate and empower African American youth and the underserved community to be confident in who they are and who God created them to be.

How We Do It

Through a network of teaching artists and underserved community advocates, we partner with schools, churches, and other community groups to provide mentoring, expressive arts workshops, and annual events for youth development, academic enrichment, and career readiness.

Our curriculum focus on 6 core areas of development: Identity, Belief, Capability, Behavior, Environment, and Spirituality to improve youth mindsets and increase their self motivation.

Who Should Participate

Any African American or underserved youth ages 8-24 interested in the arts and discovering who they are and who God created them to be; any parent or teacher interested in connecting their African American or underserved youth with a positive role model; any school, church, or community group interested in the expressive arts, positive wellbeing, youth development, or closing the achievement gap for African American or underserved youth.
